I’m a journalist, product owner, content consultant and trainer with over fifteen years’ experience working across digital, print and live content.

I’m a specialist in communicating complex subjects through data visualisation, writing and design. As a consultant and trainer I’ve worked with government departments, leading media brands, charities and startups.

Alongside Simone Baird I founded Clever Boxer, an agency that helps people to punch above their weight in business by being creative. We do this through events, training consultancy, and other interesting projects. Our clients have included Frieze, The Idler and Time Out.

I develop and deliver training courses on a range of subjects, and have worked for General Assembly, ModernGov and Guardian Masterclasses. You can find out more about the kind of training I specialise in here.

I’m an experienced public speaker, and have given my ten pence worth at events including MagFest, the Digital Magazine Awards and the Franco-British Digital Conference. More on that here.

I’ve worked as a product owner on several high-profile projects, including overseeing the iPad edition launches of Wired, GQ, Vanity Fair and Vogue in the UK, and developing a Digital Asset Management system for Condé Nast International. You can find out more about that here.

And I still sometimes write things, for people like Delayed Gratification and Collectively – you can find out more about that over here.

Always up for hearing about exciting new ideas and projects – get in touch here.
